Successful applicants will be those who demonstrate the desire to embrace a hard work ethic, work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, who thrive on challenges and have an appetite for self-development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse retail market data to identify trends, performance drivers, and consumer behaviour patterns.
  • Produce unique insights tailored to client objectives.
  • Contribute to the production of thought leadership pieces, market reports, social content and presentations.
  • Monitor key market developments, including shifts in market sizes, inflationary pressures, and consumer sentiment.
  • Use of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, Synthsia and others to automate, enhance and scale output.
  • Support client meetings by presenting findings and responding to bespoke data requests.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working flexibility: Work in a way that suits you, balancing home and office time.
  • Professional development: We invest in our team with training, industry events, and opportunities for personal growth.
  • Meaningful impact: Your insights will directly shape business strategies for leading organisations.
  • Innovative culture: Be part of a forward-thinking team that embraces new ideas and cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Collaborative environment: Work with experts in economics, data science, and industry research in a supportive and inclusive setting.
  • Competitive benefits package: Including a competitive salary, pension scheme, and additional perks.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with the confidence to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of retail industry trends and sales performance drivers.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and conducting detailed analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters’ degree) in Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience using data visualisation tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • Experience using AI tool and advanced prompt engineering skills is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing consultancy at the forefront of the retail and consumer landscape. If you are passionate about using data to make a tangible impact in the retail sector, we’d love to hear from you.
