Up to £12.92 per hour plus performance bonus and fantastic benefits. 40 hours per week across 5 days, with regular weekends included. A driving licence is needed for this role. You’ll be the warm welcome and the savvy guide in our beautifully curated shops—sharing tastings, telling product stories, and keeping service swift and seamless. From artful displays to spot-on stock rotation, you’ll make every guest visit memorable while helping our retail spaces look (and sell) their very best.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, knowledgeable customer service, including tastings and tailored recommendations
- Operate tills accurately and efficiently, keeping queues moving with a smile
- Replenish and rotate stock to First-In-First-Out standards; minimise wastage and complete paperwork
- Maintain a clean, safe, impeccably presented shop at all times
- Create and maintain eye-catching, commercially effective merchandise displays

House & Garden Shop – Celebrating Somerset living with scents, tableware, and crafted home goods. The Creamery at Castle Cary Station – Our newest location bringing The Newt to guests on the move.
