Role Overview: Virtual Physiotherapist: deliver virtual assessments of MSK patients, manage a caseload, and signpost to suitable treatment pathways via digital platforms. Additional responsibilities include clinical audit, data protection compliance, and contributing to business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telephone and virtual app‐based physiotherapy assessments and manage the clinical caseload.
- Deliver and document medically correct treatment in accordance with IPRS standards.
- Advise on evidence‐based treatment and recommend further management, referrals or investigations where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely notes and correspondence.
- Meet KPIs specific to the virtual physiotherapist role.
- Act as a clinical point of contact for non‐clinical staff during screenings and client queries.
- Participate in clinical audit duties and data protection practices.
- Engage in professional development, commercial tenders, and support the clinical leads in aligning with national standards.
- Handle any other duties consistent with the post's grading.
Qualifications:
- Formal clinical qualification in physiotherapy.
- Membership of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience:
- Previous use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with online reporting templates and database use.
- At least 3 years postgraduate clinical experience.
- Experience with telephonic/video triage calls.
- Experience in clinical triage, report checking or clinical audit.
