The Role

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded UK Sales Manager to lead business development across the UK. This role is focused on generating new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and driving adoption of our innovative ethylene-based storage solutions.

Working closely with our UK field support and marketing teams, you’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence, developing sales strategies, and delivering value to growers and supply chain partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new business opportunities through CRM leads, networking, and direct engagement
  • Sell the full range of Restrain products across approved crop applications
  • Build strong relationships with growers, agronomists, and supply chain partners
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, crop protocols, and applications
  • Collaborate with marketing to shape targeted sales strategies
  • Support and maintain existing customer accounts alongside the field support team
  • Identify market trends and new opportunities within the sector
  • Maintain accurate activity records within the CRM system
  • Provide regular field and business reports to the Commercial Director
  • Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and demonstrations
  • Contribute to ongoing product development through customer and market insights

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in agricultural sales
  • Strong understanding of the UK fresh produce or potato sector
  • Knowledge of storage, crop handling, or post-harvest solutions (desirable)
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
  • A degree in agriculture or a related field is desirable but not essential.
