As a Relocation Operative, you will be at the heart of our operations, moving and installing office furniture and other items to new premises, recycling centres, or storage facilities. You will be responsible for promoting company values, ensuring the safe loading and transport of goods, and delivering exceptional service levels through careful handling and property protection. This role involves a variety of tasks, including office relocations, handling specialist projects like hospital or lab moves, and managing fine art and furniture. Flexibility is key, as you will also handle regular removals and storage tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Moving and installing office furniture and items internally, to new premises, recycling centres, or storage
  • Promoting company core standards and values
  • Ensuring safe loading and transportation of all furniture and effects
  • Providing extensive property protection to maintain service levels
  • Handling specialist projects such as hospital, laboratory, or school equipment moves, as well as fine art and furniture

  • Punctual, hardworking, and comfortable with physically demanding work
  • Able to deal with change and proactively spot and overcome potential pitfalls
  • Polite, friendly, with good communication skills
  • Careful and methodical approach to work with an honest and responsible attitude towards others' property
  • Strong team player who can also work on their own initiative
