Hours: Monday – Friday, 5am or 6am – 4pm or 5pm
Salary: £28,665 per annum

As a Secure Collection Operative, you\’ll be the face of Restore Datashred, responsible for the secure collection and delivery of confidential materials from our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class customer service, always being polite, professional, and striving to exceed customer expectations
• Conduct thorough pre-use safety checks on your vehicle and promptly report any defects
• Maintain proactive communication with the depot\’s administration and transport planning team
• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly strictly adhering to all Road Transport legislation
• Take responsibility for safeguarding all confidential materials during collection and transit, ensuring they are secure and ready for secure destruction upon their return to the depot
• Complete all assigned jobs in a timely manner, ensuring all associated paperwork is accurately filled out and submitted

About You

• You possess a full, clean UK driving license
• Comfortable and confident driving 3.5-tonne vans
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbally when interacting with clients and in writing when completing paperwork or using the PDA
• You are highly trustworthy and understand the critical importance of maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Able to apply customer care principles, demonstrating patience, understanding, and a helpful attitude
