About The Role Role: Secure Collection Assistant Location: Manchester, M17 1EH Salary: £28,185.00 Hours a week: 45 hours, 6.00 – 16.00 Contract type: Permanent Restore Datashred is seeking a diligent and professional Secure Collection Operative to join our team. In this crucial role, you will travel with a Secure Collection Operative colleague to collect confidential information and materials from various customer sites, ensuring their secure handling and safe unloading for destruction. As a key ambassador for Datashred, you will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Duties & Responsibilities: Install, exchange, and collect confidential materials from customer premises, following company procedures Ensure the safe and secure handling of all collected materials at all times Safely unload materials upon returning to the depot, preparing them for secure destruction Adhere to Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations and all relevant legislation Accurately complete and submit timesheets, ensuring they are signed off at the end of each shift and submitted weekly Wear full company-issued uniform and PPE, carry ID badges, and present them when requested Assist with any warehouse or production tasks as required by site management About You: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality Driving Licence is essential as you will be required to drive a 3.5 Van A professional and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team Flexibility to assist with warehouse duties as needed Compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including WTD regulations Some of our benefits include: Annual Leave – 23 days + bank holidays Life Assurance – 2x basic annual salary Bereavement Counselling – Support during difficult times Free Onsite Parking Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – Confidential counselling via Health Assured Eye Care Support – Free eye tests and up to £70 towards glasses for DSE users and drivers (includes retinal photography for drivers over 40) About The Company Restore Commitment to Disability Confidence We assess candidates based on their experience and suitability for the role, as outlined in their CV and application.
