Are you an organized, efficient, and motivated professional looking to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our production department.
As a Supervisor you will be involved in coordinating daily production activities, monitoring systems like Metastorm and TIS to meet SLA targets, and overseeing quality and cost control. Responsibilities include motivating staff, managing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The position also involves handling administrative duties, resolving issues, and meeting customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize daily production activities, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Monitor systems such as Metastorm, TIS, XBound, Brainware, and eFlow to ensure work is flowing effectively and SLA targets are met.
- Oversee production to maintain high-quality output while minimizing costs.
- Allocate duties to Section Leaders, motivate staff, and monitor performance.
- Ensure all company guidelines, policies, and procedures are adhered to by all team members.
- Manage resources efficiently and arrange for the repair and servicing of equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and productive work environment.
- Handle administrative duties and production monitoring, ensuring all customer needs are met.
- Address and resolve any production or personnel issues professionally, escalating where necessary.
Essential Criteria
- Able to use a trolley safely to move multiple boxes (typically 5-6 at a time).
- Confident in carrying out physical tasks, including lifting, wrapping pallets, sorting, moving materials safely and repetitive handling of boxes.
- Have basic Computer and communication skills to follow instructions, read labels and safety information, and to complete data entry tasks.
- Support other Operation departments by completing data entry, scanning, storing and indexing tasks accurately.
- Strong day-to-day management and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive data.
- Ability to maintain high-quality production standards and meet deadlines.
