We help organisations across the country securely manage the end-of-life process for their technology assets, ensuring data protection and environmental responsibility remain at the forefront of everything we do.
As a Secure Destruction Operator, you will play a key role in delivering our on-site IT shredding service using 15-tonne specialist vehicles across the UK and Europe. Representing the business in front of clients, maintaining high standards of professionalism and technical competence. Your impact will be immediate and visible — ensuring our customers’ data is irreversibly destroyed while upholding our values of trust, security and service excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate shredders, punches and disintegrators safely and efficiently on client sites
- Maintain shredding equipment and manage any outages where possible
- Deliver services directly to customers with a professional and approachable manner
- Drive 15T shredding vehicles to and from client sites across the UK and occasionally into Europe
- Accurately complete all paperwork and site audits in line with company procedures
- Follow strict security protocols and support compliance with all relevant regulations
- Load and unload IT equipment and waste from the vehicle, adhering to health and safety guidelines
About You
- Hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence and comfortable with long-distance driving, including occasional overnight stays
- Able to pass police vetting and security clearance processes
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting
- Professional and confident when dealing with customers face-to-face
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and email for daily reporting and communication
