The Role
We’re looking for a dependable and professional 3.5T Driver to join our busy Transport & Logistics team in Cardington. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely collection and delivery of IT equipment across the UK. Your efforts will support the smooth running of operations, uphold high standards of customer care, and help us maintain our reputation for reliability and service excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive a 3.5T vehicle safely and in full compliance with UK driving laws
- Load, secure and unload goods including heavy and sensitive equipment
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and submit documentation on time
- Follow pre-determined delivery routes and schedules without deviation
- Keep the company vehicle clean, fuelled and maintained to a safe standard
- Use handheld scanners and equipment correctly and with care
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times and any changes
- Report delivery issues, route changes or obstructions promptly to management
About You
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record (no disqualifications in the last three years)
- Previous experience in a professional driving role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy items
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well independently or as part of a team
