Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee major IT projects.
- Work with other project managers and technical leads to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation such as plans and progress reports.
- Develop and understand project solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and company expectations.
- Build strong business relationships and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project finances, identify potential issues, and manage risks.
- Lead project meetings and ensure all project aspects are on track.
- Promote best practices and support continuous improvement within the team.
Essential:
- Experience in delivering technical projects and managing the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheets.
- Familiarity with PRINCE 2 and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and support junior staff.
Preferred:
- Relevant professional qualifications.
- Knowledge of DevOps, cloud technologies, and software delivery methods.
- Experience with OCR, ICR, scanning software, and mailroom digitisation.
