Salary: £26,520.00 Per Annum (with additional salary uplift for unsociable working hours)
Are you looking for a hands-on role where your work really makes a difference? We’re seeking a motivated Service Delivery Operative to join our growing warehouse team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within a large organisation, with opportunities to develop skills and take on additional responsibilities. Our warehouse team plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of data security, ensuring the safe handling, storage, and destruction of sensitive documents. You’ll be a key part of keeping our operations running smoothly while helping to protect our customers’ information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately track, handle, and protect customer information through careful indexing and record management.
- Pick and prepare a high volume of records per shift, in line with operational demands. This may involve moving up to nine boxes weighing up to 15kg each for a single pick.
- Record, store, and retrieve incoming boxes, files, and documents within designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare customer records for dispatch or secure destruction, ensuring all movements are accurately logged.
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork in line with documented procedures.
- Use our onsite Records Management system to manage records efficiently.
- Drive one of our VNA vehicles, making sure all health and safety processes are adhered to.
Essential Criteria:
- Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills.
- A reliable team player with good interpersonal skills and basic IT knowledge.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support operational needs.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with VNA is advantageous but not a necessity.
This role involves physical activity and manual handling, so you should be comfortable with lifting and moving boxes as part of your daily duties.
