Junior Accountant
Location: Silvertown, E16 2BZ
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to grow your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Restore Harrow Green is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team and play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and business growth.
As a Junior Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the management accounts process, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your accounting skills while contributing to the success of a leading workplace change and relocation company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, taking full ownership of assigned areas
- Analyse Balance Sheet transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Support Finance Business Partners with preparation and review of company P&Ls
- Act as a financial business partner to internal stakeholders across the company
- Maintain and account for fixed assets, including depreciation and amortisation
- Perform VAT calculations and submissions
- Submit and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions each month
- Assist with intercompany maintenance and Head Office financial submissions
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed
- Provide audit support and assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance and governance in all financial transactions
- Liaise with other Group divisions to meet reporting requirements and compliance standards
About You
- Relevant accountancy qualification or currently studying towards one (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
- Solid MS Excel skills confident in using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a professional office environment
- Previous experience in a similar finance/accounting role
- A self-starter with a proactive and flexible approach to work
- Able to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compliance-focused, with a commitment to upholding financial governance
