Restaurant Operations Support Ltd (ROS) specializes in installing and maintaining Grease Management Systems to help restaurants remain compliant with water authority regulations. The company also project manages a wide range of planned building works and installations, from dishwasher setups to full replacements. The team installs and monitors remote cold room sensors to protect stock from temperature abuse, while also helping businesses improve efficiency by analyzing energy use and implementing practical reduction strategies. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cannock. The role involves supporting restaurant operations by coordinating and monitoring the installation and maintenance of Grease Management Systems, cold room sensors, and other equipment. Day-to-day tasks may include scheduling and overseeing site visits, liaising with restaurant staff and contractors, documenting work completed, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures. The role also supports project management activities for building works and equipment installations, including preparing basic reports, tracking progress, and assisting with issue resolution. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team to maintain high service levels, respond to operational incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess practical skills or experience related to facilities, maintenance, or operations support in the hospitality, food, or drink industry.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling, coordinating multiple tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with restaurant teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing on-site issues and minimizing downtime.
- Candidates should ideally have a basic understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance within commercial kitchens or food-service environments.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site, sometimes in technical or mechanical environments, and willing to travel locally as required.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in engineering, building services, facilities management, or a related field are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in project coordination, operations support, or customer-facing service roles is an advantage.
