Restaurant Martin Wishart has held a Michelin Star continuously since 2001 and is proudly celebrating 25 years as one of Scotland's most respected restaurants. We are seeking a talented and ambitious Pastry Chef to take ownership of our dedicated pastry section and join our small professional brigade in Leith, Edinburgh.
Working directly with Martin Wishart and the senior kitchen team, this is an exceptional opportunity to develop your career within a long-established Michelin-starred restaurant renowned for its commitment to excellence, seasonal produce and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running the pastry section on a daily basis, producing desserts, petits fours, breads and pastry items to Michelin-starred standards whilst contributing creatively to menu development throughout the year. The kitchen operates with a brigade of six chefs and offers a supportive, professional environment where motivated individuals can develop their skills whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
