The role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at The Nici in Lymington. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys leading a team, and thrives in a busy bar environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Bar Manager in the day‐to‐day running of the bar
  • Lead and motivate the bar team during service
  • Ensure high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory
  • Help train and develop team members
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences at all times

  • Previous bar supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods
