We're looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Hospitality Manager to support the delivery of exceptional hospitality experiences at our prestigious Blackfriars contract.

Working alongside the Hospitality Manager, you'll help lead a busy operation covering meetings, conferences, VIP hospitality, and corporate events, ensuring every service is delivered to the highest standard.

This is a varied role where you'll support the team, build strong client relationships, and help drive operational excellence across multiple events each week.

Some evening work is required to support our busy events programme.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the day-to-day delivery of hospitality operations across meetings, events, conferences, and VIP experiences.
  • Leading the team during service, ensuring every event is delivered professionally and seamlessly.
  • Assisting with event planning, room set-ups, service delivery, and post-event reviews.
  • Building positive relationships with clients and responding promptly to hospitality requests.
  • Coaching, motivating, and supporting team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Working closely with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Helping drive hospitality sales while monitoring quality, costs, and efficiency.
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, health & safety, and compliance.
  • Supporting the Hospitality Manager with administration, stock control, and operational planning.
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in hospitality, events, conferencing, or premium foodservice.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within hospitality.
  • A background in corporate hospitality, hotels, venues, or contract catering is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings to support a busy programme of weekly events.
