We’re looking for a hands-on and personable Chef Manager. You’ll lead from the front, overseeing both the kitchen and overall operation, ensuring high standards of food, service, and client satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for a chef who wants to step further into the commercial side of the business while still being actively involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing As Chef Manager:

  • Delivering high-quality food and service standards consistently
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing costs, GP, and ensuring financial targets are met
  • Controlling stock, purchasing, and minimising food waste
  • Driving retail and hospitality performance to increase revenue
  • Leading, motivating, and developing your team
  • Ensuring all health, safety, and food safety standards are met
  • Analysing performance and implementing improvement plans
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and promoting the site

What You'll Need To Succeed As Chef Manager:

  • Experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up
  • A hands-on, positive, and team-focused leadership style
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage and develop a team in a supportive environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and food safety compliance
  • Organised and proactive approach to managing operations
  • Ideally experience within contract catering (preferred but not essential)
