About The Role
As Chef de Partie at IWM North, you will play a key role in the day-to-day food production, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard. Working as part of a close-knit kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing your section, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting smooth kitchen operations across visitor catering and events. This role requires a hands-on, reliable individual who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook dishes to specification, ensuring consistency and quality
- Station Management: Keep your section clean, organised, and fully compliant with food safety regulations
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and assist in minimising waste
- Service Support: Work efficiently during busy service periods, supporting the wider kitchen team
- Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of hygiene and follow all food safety procedures
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar role
- Strong cooking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
