About The Role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Events Supervisor to take on a key role within the team at RAF Museum London, one of the capital’s most unique visitor attractions, home to iconic aircraft, immersive exhibitions, and a thriving events venue. This is a fantastic opportunity to help lead our catering and service operations, with a strong focus on Conference & Events delivery within a truly memorable setting. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for delivering all on-site events at RAF Museum London, ensuring they run seamlessly and that service standards remain high throughout. From daytime corporate conferences to evening receptions beneath historic aircraft, you’ll help create exceptional experiences for guests visiting this renowned heritage venue. You’ll support and lead a motivated team, driving excellence in every aspect of food and service delivery. This role will be well suited to candidates with previous experience delivering conferences, events, or hospitality functions within a similar fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a vital link between team and management to ensure high‑quality service delivery of all conferencing and events on site.
- Support the General Manager with inventory, budgets, and operational planning
- Lead and motivate front‑of‑house teams, maintaining energy and focus
- Assist with staff training and development
- Take ownership of key admin and paperwork tasks
- Uphold and represent the Compass Group UK&I brand professionally at all times
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a similar hospitality or catering role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, can‑do attitude with a drive to develop and lead others
- Experience in managing and motivating teams
- Adaptable and ready to embrace new challenges
