Evening Kitchen Porter, Canary Wharf
Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at Restaurant Associates on a full-time basis. You will play an essential role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during our evening service, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation at all times.
What You'll Be Doing As a Kitchen Porter
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen throughout the evening shift.
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation and ensuring they have the equipment and supplies they need.
- Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and putting supplies away when required.
- Supporting colleagues and helping ensure the smooth running of evening service.
What You'll Need To Succeed As a Kitchen Porter
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to working Monday to Friday evenings.
- Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Can work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Is adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities.
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
- Takes pride in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follows instructions carefully and takes initiative when needed.
- Has previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience, although a willingness to learn and develop is equally important.
