Cafe Supervisor

Overview

We’re looking for a confident and energetic Café Supervisor to lead our friendly team at Blaise Café, (BS10 7QT) nestled in the beautiful Blaise Castle Estate. Overall Purpose of the role is to supervise the performance of frontline catering team members. To ensure all tasks associated with food production, front and back of house services and any general support required with due regard to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations are carried out. Where necessary ensure frontline teams perform all general duties to support the efficient running of a cafe in line with contractual requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Cafe Supervisors located in Bristol. Cafe Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating cafe operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. They will also monitor inventory and supplies, and provide training and guidance to the staff.

About You

• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• 35 hours per week (5 days out of 7)
