About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our busy, successful catering Bristol Central Venues team at the Bristol Central Library. The role involves preparing and serving high‑quality coffee and other beverages, providing friendly service to café visitors, operating the till, clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling cash and supporting stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
- Provide friendly and welcoming service to all café visitors.
- Operate the till and handle cash transactions.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Support stock control processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience working as a Barista or Café Waiter.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and greeting customers with a smile.
- Initiative and ability to make decisions that benefit visitors.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Desire to succeed and love of coffee culture.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- Exceptional time‑keeping and reliability.

Shift Pattern
- Tuesday to Friday: 09:00‑17:00
- Saturday: 09:30‑16:30
