A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Assistant Trackside Manager to join Restaurant Associates delivering world class hospitality for our partner between February and December
This role requires the successful applicant to travel and work abroad for approximately half of the year beside a high performance team within Formula 1

Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of hospitality areas
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams
- Assist in managing hospitality staff, including hosts, bartenders, and catering personnel, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Lead briefings to communicate event details, guest expectations, and service standards.
- Monitor staff performance during the even
- Ensure that all VIP guests, sponsors, and corporate clients receive top-tier service and attention.
- Assist with the coordination of special requests, such as dietary requirements or exclusive experiences.
- Work with the Trackside Manager to coordinate the delivery of food, beverages, and other event services.
- Oversee the smooth operation of hospitality zones, ensuring that they are fully stocked, clean, and functioning properly throughout the event.
- Be proactive in resolving issues related to service, logistics, or guest experience.
- Ensure that all hospitality operations comply with health and safety standards, including food handling, fire safety, and crowd management.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of hospitality areas after the event
- Help prepare post-event reports
- Work closely with catering teams, security, and logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with different departments to handle last-minute requests
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, event management, or a similar role, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on VIP guest relations.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to work long hours, including weekends, with the potential for international travel.
- Knowledge of event logistics, catering coordination, and health and safety regulations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
