Overview
In this Associate Mechanical Engineer role, you will lead multidisciplinary building services projects from Oxford, supporting the Thames Valley region. You’ll shape mechanical output, manage engineers, and maintain client relationships while contributing to the commercial side of the practice. Expect to drive HVAC design, plant strategy, and Part L/Part F compliance within a collaborative team. This role offers impact across residential, education, commercial, and heritage sectors in a dynamic, design-led environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects and manage engineering teams
- Develop and deliver HVAC designs and plant strategies
- Ensure compliance with Part L and Part F in project work
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver deliverable schemes
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to commercial aspects of the practice
- Shape technical output and quality across projects
- Support on-site coordination and project delivery
Key requirements
- Associate level with opportunity to lead projects
