your electrical design background, put to work outside the drawing board in Vauxhall

Vauxhall Full-Time On-site
R

If you have spent years producing MEP documentation and system layouts by hand, you already know how much of that work is repetitive rather than genuinely skilled.

To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.

This role puts that frustration to direct use. The company is a growing technology business building software that automates the slow parts of MEP design work, things like documentation, system layout and code compliance checks, while keeping a qualified engineer in control of the final decision.

It is a small, London based team backed by serious investors, still early enough that what you do has a visible and immediate effect on the product. This is not a coding role.

You are the bridge between the engineering team building the software and the design engineers who will actually use it, joining sales conversations to show what the product can do, then feeding real field feedback straight back into what gets built next.

Your electrical design background is the credibility the product needs, not a box ticking requirement. You will sit close to the founders and the product team rather than several layers removed from decisions, and the work ranges from technical demonstrations through to helping new customers get real value from the software once they are live. Salary is between Β£45,000 and Β£75,000, depending on experience. xohmjla

If the idea of applying your electrical design background to a genuinely early stage product appeals more than another year of the same drawings, it is worth a conversation. If you've read this far and you're still unsure and would prefer a detailed market insight including salary bands and market trends
