They are bringing in an associate to help lead the technical side and shape how the team grows, which means genuine influence rather than a badge.
The role exists because the practice is busy and wants a senior figure who can both deliver and build.You would lead schemes from concept to completion, mentor the engineers coming through, own key client and architect relationships, and have a real voice in how the practice runs.
