If you are already doing principal level work but still reporting to someone who barely reviews it, or feel that reaching this level elsewhere would mean losing touch with the actual engineering, this role keeps you close to the technical work while giving you the seniority you have earned.
You will lead major electrical design projects, take responsibility for technical quality across your team, and play a genuine role in mentoring and business development. It suits someone who wants the scale and reputation of an international consultancy without losing hands on involvement in the engineering itself.
