The day-to-day mix runs HVAC system design, plant strategy, compliance work across Part L and Part F, and the coordination needed to make a mechanical scheme deliverable inside a multi-disciplinary team.
Tools you would expect: Revit, Hevacomp or IES, AutoCAD, Bluebeam for coordination.You are operating at associate level, leading multi-disciplinary projects and managing engineers.
You hold client relationships, shape the technical output of the team, and contribute to the commercial side of the practice as well as the design.Associate is the level where many engineers discover their job has quietly become meetings about other people's work.
