You're a senior electrical engineer who already knows how to run a job start to finish, and you're wondering why the design work in front of you still needs so much sign off from someone else.
This is a multidisciplinary MEP consultancy with an established London base and a growing UK footprint, including new offices opening in Belfast and Edinburgh this year, built out from the same standards and back office support the London team already runs on.
The practice works across hotels, residential, student accommodation and commercial fit out, with lighting design, fire and acoustic engineering and BIM all handled in house rather than farmed out.
The frustration for a lot of senior engineers at this stage is being senior in title only: still checked at every stage, still waiting on someone else to release the design.
Here, the London team leads its own projects end to end, working directly with the wider mechanical, BIM and lighting disciplines already on the ground rather than through another layer of sign off.
The wider expansion also means genuine progression is on the table for whoever takes this seriously: as new offices bed in, someone needs to have already proven they can run projects independently in London, and that person has the strongest claim on what comes next.
