Responsive Personnel are looking for a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, loading, and stacking boxes as well as putting away heavy items using a mobile scanner and pallet trucks. This is a very active role with heavy lifting.
Duties
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Carefully load, unload, and move heavy goods, including sofas, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Move pallets as required throughout the distribution centre.
- Receive and sort customer returns.
- Pick goods according to order specifications, preparing them for shipment.
- Label goods accurately as required.
- Scan materials into and out of locations in line with company procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to handle and move heavy goods safely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Good understanding and experience working with warehouse management systems.
- High level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
