Job Description
Van Driver (Multi-Drop, 15β25 deliveries per day)
- Role: Van driver
- Location: Swindon.
- Pay:from Β£31500 pa
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 0600am starts
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out 15β25 multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial addresses each day.
- Load, unload, and secure goods safely in the van.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service at every drop, ensuring professionalism and courtesy.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and use handheld devices/scanners where required.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain cleanliness of the van.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
- Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred but not always essential.
- Good knowledge of local routes and ability to use sat-nav/route-planning apps.
- Physically fit to handle parcels and occasional heavy lifting.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
Typical Hours:
- 0600 β finish time (50 hours per week)
