Responsive Personnel are working with a leading 3PL provider who require a Warehouse Team Manager who will be responsible for managing end to end daily warehouse operations ensuring that all customer contractual obligations are met. You will engage with and provide leadership and motivation to your team in line with all company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop operational systems by determining product handling, storage and transport requirements; developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures.
- Manage, mentor and coach direct reports to create a successful and effective warehouse team providing clear directions to achieve prescribed objectives.
- Work within agreed budgetary limits ensuring strict cost control and spending.
- Accountable for ensuring relevant operating metrics are met including warehouse productivity, vehicle loading and unloading, pick rates and stock counts.
- Develop programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilisation of the facility and of all warehouse equipment.
