Cake Maker to join our clients bakery team in Swindon.
You will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating and finishing a range of cakes and baked goods to a consistently high standard.
This is a day-shift position
, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy bakery environment and takes pride in producing quality products.
(Please note you will need to do a weeks training on nights at a higher pay rate)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cake mixtures, fillings, creams and toppings according to recipes and production requirements.
- Bake cakes and other products to the required quality and consistency.
- Decorate and finish cakes neatly and creatively.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Check ingredients and ensure products are fresh and of a high quality.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work area.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
