Responsive Personnel are looking for an experienced, proactive Hotel Sales Manager to drive new corporate business for our client.
The main focus of the role will be corporate sales – developing new corporate accounts, increasing corporate accommodation business and generating meetings and conference opportunities.
This is a genuinely proactive sales role. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of identifying, approaching and winning new business, rather than someone whose experience is primarily reactive sales or handling incoming enquiries.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven hotel sales experience – essential.
- Strong experience in proactive corporate hotel sales and account development.
- A demonstrable track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.
- Experience selling corporate accommodation, meetings and conferences.
- Confidence in prospecting, making appointments, visiting clients and networking.
- A strong local network or knowledge of Oxfordshire and the surrounding area would be advantageous.
- A driven, confident and self-motivated approach, able to work independently and manage their own sales activity and pipeline.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on measurable results.
The role will involve spending time out of the hotel meeting prospective and existing clients, developing relationships and actively identifying opportunities to grow corporate business.
We are open to either a full-time appointment or an experienced candidate looking for a three-day-per-week role.
The key requirement is genuine proactive hotel sales experience, particularly within the corporate market, with evidence of business they have personally gone out and won.
