CNC Setter/Operator – Day Shift Gloucestershire (Easily commutable from Cirencester, Swindon, Stroud, Cheltenham) £14-£18 per hour (DOE) Day shift only – No nights or weekends An established precision engineering company, supplying high-spec components to the aerospace, medical, and defence sectors, is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a clean, modern workshop, producing high-precision parts for industries that demand excellence. What You’ll Be Doing: * Setting and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, etc.) * Working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Ensuring quality standards are met through first-off and in-process inspections * Working closely with engineers and production teams to optimise processes What We’re Looking For: * Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling, Turning, or both) * Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Prior experience in aerospace, medical, or defence manufacturing is beneficial but not essential What’s On Offer: Day shifts only – No nights or weekends * Competitive hourly rate of £14-£18ph, depending on experience * Secure, permanent role with a growing precision engineering company * Opportunity to work on high-spec projects in a clean, modern facility Apply Now: If you’re a skilled CNC Setter/Operator looking for a stable role with great working hours, get in touch today
