Picker/Packer
We are looking to recruit multiple Pick and Packers to assist our client in Andover.
Job title: Picker/Packer / Warehouse Operative
Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday | 09:00 - 17:00
Location: Andover,
Main duties:
- Picking products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Checking product codes and quantities to ensure orders are accurate.
- Packing orders securely and preparing them for dispatch.
- Labelling parcels correctly.
- Repacking products when required.
- Organising and replenishing stock.
- Keeping the warehouse and packing areas clean and organised.
- Working to daily order and dispatch deadlines.
- Following company procedures for quality and accuracy.
- Working as part of a warehouse/fulfilment team.
- Carrying out repetitive manual tasks while maintaining a good level of accuracy and productivity.
Skills and qualities they are likely to look for:
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work at a steady pace in a busy warehouse.
- Good organisational skills.
- Physically able to stand and walk for much of the shift and handle parcels.
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
- Able to follow instructions and meet targets.
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing or fulfilment experience would be useful, but may not necessarily be essential.
