Project Manager

Responsiv is seeking a Project Manager with experience managing multiple projects for internal and external stakeholders. The desired individual will have a record of delivering complex IT solution projects on time and to budget.

About the Role

As Project Manager you will be comfortable managing client and internal stakeholders to control scope, resolve risks and issues, and execute deliverables in line with the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple project teams including internal, third-party, and customer resources across simultaneous projects o Ensure project portfolio is planned and communicated efficiently to relevant stakeholders, including timelines, tasks, and budget management
• Define team skills requirements and assuring availability of resource for upcoming projects • Create client account delivery view of projects and potential projects

Project Management:

Project Planning

• Effectively define, size, and plan projects including scope, effort and resource requirements, success criteria, workstreams, milestones, and deliverables
• Draft and maintain clear project plans to effectively track progress and budget utilisation
• Conduct tasks to manage project risks throughout delivery, including data processing impact assessments (DPIAs) and RAID log maintenance with support from delivery team
• Ensure resource planning and forecasting is up to date for scheduling projects or warning for restrictions
  

Delivery

• Track and manage project tasks, milestones, and resources based on the defined project plan
• Control project scope within bound of contractual agreements, budgets, and timeframes
• Ensure resource timesheets are entered daily and that they reflect planned work to approve or reject
• Update budgets and ensure management are proactively made aware if delivery budget or time is at risk
• Conduct regular stakeholder feedback sessions to progress and track actions, decisions, and project momentum
• Ensure strong working relationships across stakeholders, internal Responsiv, Client, and third parties
• Provide clear leadership to the project team, ensuring they are never in doubt of their next tasks or delivery objectives
• Represent Responsiv to the client and champion our company and values

About You

You are expected to have stronger experience in all aspects of the role, and to be adaptable to new challenges, maintain currency in techniques and approaches, and to work well with both business and technical communities.

Essential Skills:

• Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• PRINCE2/PMI or similar project management certification
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Financial forecasting and budget management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management for self and others
• Experience with project management tools, such as OpenProject or MS Project
• Good knowledge of resource and service management tools and techniques Desirable Skills:
• Experience working with IBM or other software projects in a large enterprise setting
• Experience with a Technical or Analytical background
