Our client is a leading media agency, known for their award-winning approach to their people, clients and social purpose initiatives. Working as part of a small and fast-moving team, we are on the lookout for a quantitative Research Account Director, someone who is analytical, proactive and client-facing, who will manage multiple projects and work with the Research Director to identify and action new business opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build strong relationships with clients across different sectors, by understanding their goals, maintaining strong communication and working with the team to manage their bespoke research projects.
- Work with the team to manage end to end research projects, including: crafting proposals, designing research studies, analysing data, designing questionnaires, managing reporting and delivering presentations – ensuring the highest quality of research is delivered by the team.
- Work with the team to ensure effective project planning across all projects, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and all queries escalated and resolved.
- Work with the Research Director to identify, prospect and win new business, ensuring a healthy pipeline of activity based on your contacts, network and relevant industry sources.
- Represent the agency at external networking events, and work with the internal Marketing team on thought leadership content.
- Support junior members of the team by providing feedback, reviewing draft deliverables and encouraging their continuous development.
Experience and skills you’ll need to have:
- Experience having led market research projects (data, quantitative or survey) from an account management, or project management perspective, having worked within a research agency, or within a research-focussed role within a media or marketing business.
- Experience overseeing research projects from beginning to end, with a strong understanding of research methodologies and techniques.
- Demonstrable client and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced and agile environment, able to lead a research team and work with other team members, clients and audiences with different skillsets.
- Advanced use of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with either TGI, GWI or YouGov data tools and Facebook Insights/Google Analytics.
- Strong storytelling skills when turning data into insights, with great attention to detail.
