The Media Buying & Smart Bidding Director is responsible for defining and scaling best‑in‑class media buying standards and optimisation strategies across global platforms. This role ensures that all media investment is deployed efficiently and consistently, leveraging smart bidding, platform‑native capabilities, and structured account design to maximise business outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define and govern global smart bidding frameworks across key platforms (e.g. Google, Meta, programmatic).
  • Establish and scale media buying principles and optimisation playbook.
  • Own best practice for campaign structure, bidding logic, and optimisation levers.
  • Ensure ad account design and setup principles are clearly defined and adopted in partnership with Ad Ops.
  • Partner with markets and agencies to drive adoption and performance uplift.
  • Identify and scale emerging channel opportunities (e.g. Search, Influencer, Retail Media).
  • Translate platform capabilities into clear guidance for performance improvement.
