We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager with expertise in influencer marketing and brand compliance, who will support global clients in developing and executing effective social media strategies, operational models and best in class ways of working.

This is a client-facing advisory role where you will spend significant time on-site or embedded with clients, providing hands-on guidance on social media strategy, influencer partnerships, content governance, and performance optimisation. You will work across a portfolio of multinational consumer goods brands, helping them navigate the increasingly complex social media landscape while maintaining brand safety and regulatory compliance.

Client Advisory & Strategy
  • Partner with client marketing teams to assess current social media capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Develop tailored social media strategies aligned with client brand guidelines, market, organisational dynamics, and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support with best practice operational models at a local and global level.
  • Conduct social media landscape analysis for clients, including competitor benchmarking and platform trends.
  • Advise clients on platform-specific best practices, new operational features, emerging trends, and opportunities (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and the best tools to support social media and Influencer management.
  • Support clients in defining social media KPIs, measurement frameworks, and reporting structures.
  • Prepare client-facing reports, presentations, and recommendations based on performance data and industry best practices.
Influencer Marketing & Partnership Management
  • Create guidance for clients on Influencer vetting, from regulation to best in class technology to mitigate risk and maximise reward.
  • Identify, vet, and recommend suitable influencers and content creators aligned with client brand values and target audiences.
  • Advise clients on influencer briefs, contractual terms, disclosure requirements, and performance expectations.
  • Support teams with guidance on influencer campaign planning, execution, and monitoring across multiple markets.
  • Ensure all influencer activity complies with ASA/CAP Code, FTC/DCMS guidelines, and platform disclosure policies.
  • Conduct influencer audits and provide recommendations for optimising creator partnerships.
Social Media Governance & Compliance
  • Advise clients on developing and implementing social media governance frameworks, policies, and approval workflows.
  • Ensure client social content aligns with brand standards, legal requirements, and regulatory guidance.
  • Support clients in conducting brand audits across social channels and identifying compliance risks.
  • Provide guidance on community management, moderation protocols, and crisis response frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across strategy, compliance, and creative disciplines; contributing to thought leadership and case study development to support business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
About You …
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or marketing communications roles.
  • Proven track record working with influencers, content creators, or ambassador programmes.
  • Experience advising on or managing social media strategies within FMCG, consumer brands, or regulated industries.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders in a consultancy or advisory capacity.
  • Experience in social media governance, compliance, or brand safety is a strong advantage.
