Responsible Marketing Group is a rapidly growing marketing advisory business implementing a fit-for-future integrated business operating system. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager on a short-term contract (1–2 months) to lead the implementation and migration to a new productivity platform. This is a hands-on delivery role working alongside the Operations Director, and you’ll own the implementation end-to-end, from defining requirements and managing the vendor, through to data migration, system configuration and team adoption. Experience of automation, integrations and AI-enabled tools is a bonus, but strong project leadership and delivery is essential.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end implementation of our new business operating system, acting as the central point of coordination across stakeholders.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand current workflows across delivery, finance, sales and operations.
- Define clear functional and data requirements for the new operating system.
- Evaluate the implementation requirements of the chosen platform.
- Create and manage a clear delivery plan including milestones, dependencies and risks.
- Own migration from SharePoint and OneDrive, including document structures, data integrity and access controls.
- Coordinate configuration of the chosen platform to reflect real-world workflows.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to manage integrations and automations.
- Support light automation and AI-enabled features where appropriate (e.g. reporting, workflow triggers).
- Ensure documentation, SOPs and clear handover at the end of the contract.
- Drive adoption by guiding teams through changes and ensuring the system is actually used.
About You
- Proven experience implementing business management or operating system platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run fast, structured implementations.
- Comfortable working in short-sprint delivery cycles (1–2 month contracts).
- Experience migrating data and documents from legacy systems (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Technically confident enough to work alongside automation, integrations and reporting.
- Clear, calm communicator who can work with non-technical stakeholders.
- Pragmatic and outcomes-focused; prioritises what matters, not what’s ‘nice to have’.
- Experience in a consultancy, agency, SME or scaling business environment.
- Bonus: exposure to workflow automation tools, integrations, or AI-enabled systems.
