We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring for the position of Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing company in Laindon. The successful candidate will work 5 days per week, providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Efficient, confident and passionate PA who has experience supporting directors at a senior level
- Highly organised with excellent time management, multitasking skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- High level of discretion and trustworthiness
- Able to work on own initiative and without direction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office with good touch-typing speed
- Personable, positive character and a team player
Typical Duties:
- Extensive diary management
- Meeting coordination and scheduling, including preparing agendas and minutes
- Booking, planning and coordinating UK and overseas travel
- Preparing, formatting and issuing correspondence and documents
- Inbox and to-do list management
- Liaising internally and externally with individuals/teams and clients on behalf of the MD
- Organising refreshments/lunches for meetings
- Attending meetings and taking minutes as required
- Planning and organising corporate events, meetings, conferences and exhibitions
- Preparing and submitting expenses
- Office administration and any other ad hoc duties that may arise
