We are recruiting for a CNC Miller programmer/setter to join their busy manufacturing team based in Luton. The successful candidate will work within a clean and modern environment with state-of-the-art machine tools. An excellent rate of pay and overtime is offered to an applicant with the relevant experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm. Regular overtime is also available at an enhanced rate.
Duties include:
- Programming, setting and operating HAAS CNC machines.
- The work involves small, relatively simple precision components from steel, plastics, brass and aluminium.
- Responsibility to maintain quality of work during production.
Many of the components for manufacture will have been made many times, so plenty of tooling exists.
Skills: To be considered for this role you must be able to use measuring equipment and read engineering drawings. Relevant experience is required in programming, setting and operating although additional training will be offered to a suitable applicant.
