About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician - Level 2 to join a busy and growing aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operation. In this role, you will carry out a wide range of inspections on aircraft components, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You will work across multiple NDT disciplines and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to support efficient operations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections in line with approved procedures and regulatory standards
- Work across disciplines including MPI, FPI, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, and related methods
- Maintain accurate inspection and certification records
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Liaise with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain and update NDT authorisations and training requirements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Valid NDT Level 2 certification (EN4179 or equivalent)
- Experience in an aviation MRO or aerospace environment
- Good IT skills and familiarity with business systems
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
Desirable:
- Aerospace apprenticeship
- Experience working to Part 145 standards
- Multi-discipline certification
