The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Fixed Head Turner Programmer to join their expanding machining team in Harlow. This position would suit a skilled engineer with strong programming experience using Mazak Smooth controls and a background in precision machining. Both day and night shift positions are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Fixed Head Turning machines
- Working with Mazak Smooth controls
- Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting appropriate tooling and offsets
- Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment
- Ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained
