PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting into the Melt Out Team Leader. This role is to support the Team Leader in the efficient running of the department by meeting job timescales and demands, whilst completing jobs to the highest of standards.
About the Role
Response Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in high-performance motorsport manufacturing, for a Pattern Finisher (Melt Out Technician). This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced, precision-driven environment, supporting the production of high-quality composite components used in Formula 1. You'll play a key part in ensuring patterns, moulds, and castings are finished to the highest standards, contributing directly to performance-critical engineering.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Final preparation of various patterns, moulds and castings
- Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper to a high standard
- Lone working
- Checking information on drawings is clear
- Checking route card instructions are correct
- Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Keep all equipment maintained
- Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read engineering drawings would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- Excellent accuracy level
- Constantly aware of health and safety
- Good verbal communication and listening skills

HOURS OF WORK:
The job holder will work, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. However, these hours may change from time to time as business needs dictate.
