Our client, based in Andover, is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing engineering and manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established and busy precision engineering environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to engineering specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
We are open to candidates from a wide range of CNC backgrounds, including operators, setters, programmers, and trainee machinists with relevant engineering exposure.
Key Responsibilities- Setting and operating CNC machinery
- Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
- Working from technical and engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Performing tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments
- Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
- Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
Candidates with experience in any of the following CNC machining areas are encouraged to apply:
- CNC Turning
- CNC Milling
- CNC Setting
- CNC Operating
- CNC Programming
- Setter/Operator and Setter/Operator/Programmer roles
- 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machining
- Experience with Doosan machines
- Fanuc controls

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Use of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, callipers, etc.)
- Precision engineering or general manufacturing backgrounds
Both experienced CNC Machinists and trainee/junior candidates with a strong interest in engineering will be considered.
