Operations Manager Permanent Vacancy Based in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire An exciting opportunity to join a market leading company established in it\’s field for over 40 years! As a successful Operations Manager, you will be responsible for key departments of manufacturing, warehousing and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include: – Product manufacturing and sourcing costs. – Delivery dates with sales order processing and update log to reflect the actual stock status. – Ordering of all manufacturing materials. – Progressing any overdue orders required for manufacturing and keep Sales and Manufacturing informed of any potential delays. – Ensuring that timely, accurate, reports are produced to measure KPIs, following through with actions to address any failures against KPIs. – Developing a culture which supports Lean Six Sigma and 5S. – Responsible for the Quality system ensuring that standards are maintained, improved upon and that timely internal and external audits are carried out in compliance with regulations. – Ensuring all necessary Quality and Regulatory standards are met including appropriate medical device certification and registration. – Ensuring that all company policies, relevant SOPs and controlled measures are adhered to within Logistics. The successful Operations Manager will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of ISO standards, audits, Lean manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and KPI\’s. Apply today!
