Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Basildon Salary: £21.58 per hour (including shift allowance) Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Shifts: Two-shift rotation Early Shift: Mon-Thurs, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm; Fri, 6:00 am – 1:30 pm Late Shift: Mon-Thurs, 1:45 pm – 9:45 pm; Fri, 1:15 pm – 8:45 pmAbout the Role We are looking for experienced CNC Machine Operators, including CNC Millers and CNC Turners, to join our team at a well-established precision engineering company based in Basildon. You\’ll be responsible for producing high-quality components using CNC machinery in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will join a team of 19 machinists and report to the Shopfloor Team Lead under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager. Key Responsibilities Load raw materials and unload finished products Operate CNC machines to cut, grind, and drill materials as required Adjust speeds, feeds, and cutter paths to achieve accurate results Adhere to safety protocols and operating procedures at all times Conduct machine inspections and log production data and maintenance needs Ensure tools and materials are adequately stocked to reduce downtime Collaborate effectively with team members and support production needsRequired Skills & Experience Time-served CNC background or equivalent practical experience CNC Milling or Turning expertise (a combination is ideal) Strong ability to interpret technical drawi…
